comfortable stay but needs some minor improvements
The room was spacious, allowing my family to relax without feeling cramped. Victoria at the front desk made us feel very welcome with her friendly demeanor and local tips.
The breakfast area could be a bit more organized during peak hours.

We had an amazing time here, especially enjoying the cozy fireplace in our room and the outdoor deck to soak up the sun. The pool area and BBQ facilities were perfect for our family to unwind together. The only thing we wished for was a bit more variety at breakfast, but it didn’t spoil our fun! 😊

The staff created a welcoming atmosphere and made an effort to ensure our family felt at home, contributing to a positive experience. The room was a decent size and included a fridge, but the balcony view was disappointing, overlooking a parking lot instead of a creek. Additionally, service at the front desk lacked warmth, which detracted from the visit overall.

The room was spacious and the bed comfortable, providing a decent night's rest. However, the breakfast options were disappointing, and the noise from the upper room was quite bothersome. Overall, a pleasant albeit slightly frustrating experience that could benefit from better dining choices and noise reduction.

Monterey's food scene is a treasure hunt! I stumbled upon Lopez Restaurant & Cantina for some killer tacos, and Ocean Sushi Deli hit the spot with fresh rolls. Plus, my stay at Colton Inn had super friendly staff and a surprisingly good free breakfast to fuel my culinary adventures.
Now, about that coffee situation. I could've used more than two coffee pods for our morning news binge! Also, a little sign pointing to the lobby coffee would’ve been helpful—my husband wandered around the cafeteria like a lost puppy.

Family with children will enjoy it
Had a lovely king room with a fireplace that set the right mood for cozy family nights. The staff were friendly, especially when they helped us figure out the parking situation which wasn't the easiest.
It was a bit pricey but nothing that broke the bank.

The location was unbeatable! We were just a short walk from the aquarium and all the downtown attractions. 🐠 The breakfast options were limited though, a bit more variety would be nice.
